Mimicking Spiders

January 13, 2017

Some spiders mimic ants and live near their nest to prey on them. They use mimicry to enter and leave the nest. If detected as an intruder, ants would attack in number and might kill the spider. While visiting the nests, these spiders walk on three rear pairs of legs, and if encountered with an ant, they touch front legs to the ant's antennae similarly as other ants would do with its own antennae. #Spider #Pest #Interesting #Facts
